The invention relates to a crank gear by virtue of which it is not necessary to lower the feet and the legs, and there is therefore no need to raise them, and in addition the weak pedalling strokes are eliminated. This crank gear is essentially composed of a seat 1, of two rails 2 and 3 along which pedals 4 and 5 run, a return cable 7 connects the pedals at the front, two superposed chains 10 and 11 connect the pedals at the back and drive two superposed free-wheels 12 and 13 giving their single shaft 14 a continuous direction of rotation. The device of the invention is intended for vehicles with human propulsion (main or auxiliary) for land, sea or air, and small machines. <IMAGE>
