PURPOSE:To reduce the production cost and to improve the production efficiency by a method wherein an upper mold and a segment mold are separated from each other after a vulcanized tire is shifted to a predetermined position. CONSTITUTION:After the finish of vulcanization, a bladder 30 is housed in a bag well 28. An upper mold 22 and a segment mold 24 are vertically separated from a lower mold 23 by raising a ram 14. At this time, the mold 22 and the mold 24 do not separate from each other and are in the state of holding a vulcanized tire 32. Next, the tire 32 is horizontally shifted with the ram 14 to a predetermined position. At this time, a cylinder actuator 34 is put into actuation so as to eject an actuating piston 34a upwards in order to raise a second inclined member 39 so that a mold 24 is shifted through a first inclined member 38 radially outwards. Consequently, the tire 32 falls down on a conveyor 45 and can be easily removed from a vulcanizing mold. As mentioned above, no center chuck is necessary to be used. |
