PURPOSE:To improve the stability of steering and its safety, by providing a control means, which supplies power to a controller after a predetermined time when an ignition switch is placed in an on-condition, so that the controller provides the stability of its action to be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:Pressure oil is allowed to flow via a control valve controlled by a stepping motor 25, and a rear wheel steering mechanism generates auxiliary power of steering by supplying the pressure oil to and discharging it from right and left pressure oil chambers of a power cylinder. The stepping motor 25 is controlled by a controller 28. Here the controller 28 provides an alternator output voltage supervisory circuit 42 and a voltage detecting circuit 41 which discriminates whether or not output voltage of an alternator is in a predetermined value or more while whether or not an ignition switch 44 is placed in an on-condition. While a power supply circuit 40, which serves as a control means supplying power from a battery 33 to the controller 28 corresponding to the decision result in said voltage detecting circuit 41, is provided. |
