PURPOSE:To simplify the manufacturing equipment and save the energy therefor by heating an exhaust pipe together with a tube body in a heating furnace for heating the tube body, and forming the exhaust pipe in the heating furnace. CONSTITUTION:A tube body (b) is retained by a tube chuck 33 in a condition that a tube (a) is rested on a pair of support rods 31 of a transfer device, while an end of an exhaust pipe (c) is retained by an exhaust pipe chuck 33. In this state, respective paired chains of the transfer device 2 are moved in circulation in the direction shown by an arrow (x), and when tubes (a) are fed in a heating furnace sequentially, a body (b) and the exhaust pipe (c) are heated simultaneously to be softened. This time, because the exhaust pipe is thin, it is softened speedily, and then the intermediate part is bent downward due to its weight, so that the exhaust pipes (c) are bent-shaped. Each tube (a) having the-so bent exhaust pipe is formed annularly after it comes out of the heating furnace. Thus, it is possible to utilize thermal energy as well as perform high-speed work.
