PURPOSE:To easily generate strong ultrasonic elliptical vibration on the upper surface of the beam of a connector with high efficiency, by making the height of the tortional connector coincide with 1/4 of the wavelength of tortional vibration. CONSTITUTION:On the bottom of an aluminum disc 1 with thickness T and diameter D, a shallow groove 3 is notched, and crescent legs 4 are formed at two residual crescent-shaped sections. Through the central section of the groove 3, a tapping slot for tightening with a bolt is bored, and with the axis of a line in parallel with the groove 3 through the center of the groove 3, bending vibration is performed by the disc 1. Diagonally to the axis of the bending vibration, namely, diagonally to the groove 3, a beam 2 is set. The height h of the tortional connector is a distance between the bottom surface of the crescent legs 4 and the upper surface of the beam 2, and the height is selected to coincide with 1/4 of the wavelength of tortional vibration. |
