摘要 PURPOSE:To enable favorable printing and fixation to be achieved even on a paper having a poor surface smoothness and a plastic film having a smooth surface and ensure favorable preservability and blocking resistance, by incorporating a heat-adhesive material into an ink layer as a min constituent so that the ink layer will not be melted to be a low-viscosity liquid under thermal energy applied at the time of printing. CONSTITUTION:In an ink layer 3 provided on a heat-resistant base 1 such as a polyester film and a polyimide film, an appropriate resin other than wax is used as a main constituent of a layer part to be disposed next to a transfer recording material. An ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer and/or an ethylene- alkyl methacrylate copolymer is most suitable for use as the resin, from the viewpoints of sensitivity, adhesive force, pliability, pigment-dispersing property, mechanical properties, application properties or the like. The copolymer compries an alkyl acrylate and/or an alkyl methacrylate in an amount of not less than 15wt%. The amount of a resin or resins poorly compatible with the copolymer is set at 5-100wt% based on the amount of the copolymer.
