PURPOSE:To improve the mounting strength of a metal bracket by a method wherein a mat. which is prepressed to the hardness capable to be pierced by the metal bracket, is pressed under heat by a main press tool, onto which the metal bracket is set. CONSTITUTION:A mat 4 having the hardness nearly capable to be pierced by the burring leg part 9 of a metal bracket 8, is formed by pressing a mixture of proper quantities of fibrous material and of synthetic resin base binder with an upper and a lower press tools heated up to about 120-150 deg.C. In addition, the metal bracket is set in the recess of the bottom force 5 of a main press tool having a rugged surface, which is heated up to about 200-230 deg.C, for a formed board 11. After that, when the mat 4 is shifted in the bottom force 5, the mat 4 is supported by the leg end of the leg part 9. In the above- mentioned state, when the top force 6 is lowered under heat and pressure so far until the thickness of the mat becomes thinner than the length of the leg part 9, the mat 4 is formally formed in the formed board 11 and at the same time the leg end side of the leg part 9 is bent outwards so as to form a part for preventing from coming-off by being imbedded in the formed board 11. |
