<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an installation area and improve operating property by providing a supporting device which supports an attachment liftably up and down between an installing position and a retracted position, on a picture image forming device. CONSTITUTION:The paper outlet E of a picture image forming device 1 is provided so as to be opposite to the paper inlet F of a sorter 3 and, when the sorter 3 is installed to the picture image forming device 1, it is lifted up in the direction of the arrow by means of a link mechanism and engaged with a retainer claw 1a by means of a handle 10. When, removing the sorter 3, the locking is released by rotating the handle 10 allowing the sorter 3 to fall down by its own weight. The link mechanism consists of linked 5a, 5b, 7a, 7b, and auxiliary links 6a, 6b, and a torsion spring is provided inside the binding member 12 of the links 7a, 7b, normally energizing the link mechanism in the direction of the arrow B to prevent a shock at the time of lowering the sorter 3. Thereby, the installation and removal of the sorter is made easier, making a countermeasure to jamming efficient, while reducing an installation area.</p> |
