PURPOSE:To provide a resin compsn. giving vulcanized products which are flexible and excellent in mechanical strength and resistance to heat, weather, water and moisture, by blending a specified thermoplastic copolyester resin with a rubber component and a vulcanizing agent. CONSTITUTION:A resin compsn. is obtd. by blending a thermoplastic copolyester resin (A) having an intrinsic viscosity of not lower than 0.2, composed of an acid component consisting of 40-100mol% of an arom. dicarboxylic acid and 0-60mol% of an aliph. dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component consisting of 70-99mol% of a low-molecular glycol having an MW of not higher than about 250 and 1-30mol% of an aliph. long-chain glycol having an average MW of about 350-6,000 with a rubber component (B) and a vulcanizing agent (C) in the following ratio. The ratio of the component A to the component B is 30-95:70-5 by weight. The component C in used in an amount of 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. in total of the components A and B. The intrinsic viscosity is a value measured in a solvent mixture of phenol and tetrachloroethane (1:1 by weight) at 20 deg.C.
