PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a secondary treatment and to prevent work environment from deteriorating, by charging water into a gas stream flowing through a gas conveyeing path which sucks thereinto a granular body which is therefore turned into a slurry form and reserved in a tank, and by timely extracting the slurry form grannular body from the tank. CONSTITUTION:Pulverized coal 1 produced during various processes and acculmurated in an steel manufacturing factory, is conveyed by a gas stream in a suction pipe 2 and fed into a slurry tank 3. Water is charged into pulverized coal 1 from a water feed pipe 6 connected in the suction pipe 2, and therefore, floating particles of pulverized coal 1 are trapped and are turned into a liquid phase from a gas phase to form a slurry which is then reserved in the tank 3 where a mixture of gas and liquid is jetted from a blow-in port 3a onto a buffle plate 3a in the tank to turn the remaining floating pulverized coal 1 completely into a liquid phase while gas from which pulverized coal 1 has been removed is discharged through an exhaust pipe 8 by means of an evacuating pump. Meanwhile, the pulverized coal in a slurry form is stored in the tank 3 and is extracted in order from an take-out port 3c with predetermined ranges 3d through 3e. Then it is fed into a slurry pit 10 by means of a drain pump 9, thereby it is possible to prevent work environment from deteriorating.
