A method for prepare hollow snack is presented. Thus, a mixt. contg. 30 parts wheat flour, 10 parts corn powder, 3 part shortening, 1 part sucrose, proper amt. of yeast, and edible salt is steamed to give 50% water content at 3kg/cm2 for 10 min. The dough is pressed with air to give 2.0 mm sheet. The sheet with air is treated with hot air and cold air. The sheets treated with hot air (A) and cold air (B) are joined by "joining mould", dried, and fried at 200≦̸C for 10 sec. to give hollow snack. |
