Electrical connector consisting of two connector elements A, B which can be coupled together by means of a rotating coupling ring 12 having rapid screwing action over at most one complete turn, with, in addition, a locking ring 14 which is rotationally integral with the coupling ring but capable of axial movement with respect to the latter, the ring 14 being rotationally locked independently of the coupling, and once the coupling is completed and locked, this latter position is confirmed, visually and by touch, by the complete covering of the ring 12 by the ring 14 and by the disengagement (release), by means of the ring 14, of an inspection ring 18 which can then rotate idly. <IMAGE>
