<p>PURPOSE:To use a small number of address bus input terminals for the same address space and reduce external form size by specifying a memory bank through a data bus. CONSTITUTION:When one of plural memory banks 7 in an ROM is selected, an ROM selection signal is supplied to an ROM selection signal input terminal 10, and memory bank selection information and a write signal are applied to a data bus terminal 15 and a write signal input terminal 13 respectively. Memory bank selection information 22 from the data bus terminal 15 is inputted to a bank register 5. The held memory bank selection information is inputted to a bank selector 6 to activate the bank memory 6 and an output buffer 2. This activated bank selector 6 supplies a memory bank selection signal 23 to select only one of banks in a memory bank group 7, and sends an output to the data bus terminal 15.</p> |
