The invention relates to inhibitors of angiotensin-converting enzyme, of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R<1> denotes cycloalkyl, R<2> and R<3> independently of one another denote hydroxyl or lower alkoxy and A stands for lower alkylene, and their salts. They can be prepared e.g. by reduction of a compound corresponding to the formula I, which compound has a double bond on the C-3 carbon atom.
