PURPOSE:To adjust the volume of the blast which passes through a heat exchanger and improve the heat exchanging efficiency by providing a plurality of louvers which swivel on the decoration cover of an air conditioner and making the width dimension of the louver smaller on the up-stream side of the section of the heat exchanger which has a smaller depth dimension and making the width dimension of the louver larger on the other sections. CONSTITUTION:The decoration cover 4 of an air conditioner has a structure to cover its heat exchanger 1 from the front face. A small louver 6 is provided near a penetrating flow fan 3 and a large louver 5 is provided above the small louver 6. On the upper face an upper louver 7 is provided. Those louvers are all mounted rotatably to the decoration cover 4. In order to make the speed of the blast due to the rotation of the penetrating flow fan 3 larger at the section where the depth dimension of the heat exchanger is large and smaller at a section which has a cut section 2, a large louver 5 is provided opposite to the upper section and a small louver 6 opposite to the cut section 2 for the purpose of controlling the blast velocity to the heat exchanger 1. |
