PURPOSE:To make it possible to give ventilation to a storage room in accordance with the opening and closing of the door without making ventilation operation by providing a storage room with a door which swings horizontally and a ventilation hole and providing at the ventilation hole a ventilating means which is actuated in conjunction with the opening and closing actions. CONSTITUTION:A storage room 1 is provided with a door 2 which swings horizontally and a ventilation hole 3. The ventilation hole 3 is provided with a ventilation means 4 which is actuated in conjunction with the opening and closing of the door 2. This ventilation means 4 is formed with a blocking plate 5 which is free to open and close the ventilation hole 3. A wire 6 which pulls the blocking plate 5 to open the hole 3 when the door 2 is opened is provided between the door 2 and the blocking plate 5, so that the blocking plate 5 moves in conjunction with the opening and closing of the door 2. As a result, it is possible to give ventilation to the storage room in conjunction with the opening and closing of the door, requiring no operation for ventilation, and there is no fear that the ventilation is forgotten and the air in the room becomes stuffy.
