A large surface-area sifter (1) comprising two adjacent boxes (2, 3) operated by crank-shafts (15) in such a way as to affect opposed-phase circular oscillation. For this purpuse, each box (2, 3) is suspended or supported by oscillating components (4, 5) and operated by at least two cranks (10). In this way it is possible to obtain also a clear-cut circular oscillation when the load of product is located on only one side, by placing a balancing weight (22) on each crank (10) and locating the drive between the two boxes (2, 3) in the region of the two outermost sides. |
