PURPOSE:To mount a center core securely by operating an energizing means by a control means and energizing the center core toward a recording medium loading surface, and mounting it on recording medium rotary driving part and then making the energizing member leave the center core. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 1 is inserted into a cassette holder 22, a sensor operates and a cam wheel 36 rotates as shown by an arrow (a). A roller 33 which engages an outer peripheral cam 37 is pushed up according to the rotation, so the 2nd lever 27 rotates around a support shaft 17 counterclockwise. Consequently, the 1st lever 18 also rotates through a tension spring 30 and the cassette holder 22 moves down vertically. The 2nd lever 27 rotates successively and the center core 6 is energized by push pins 55a and 55b through a leaf spring 52 and pushed in a spindle 63, so that the center core is pressed against the top surface of the object projection 65 of a turntable 62. Then, the push pins 55a and 55b both leave the center core 6 from above.
