Non-toxic nickel-based dental alloys for producing dental replacement parts to be veneered with porcelain, which contain, to provide good adhesion of the dental ceramic, good mechanical properties, problem-free melting and casting behaviour, good corrosion resistance and to avoid discoloration of the porcelain, 0.01 to 0.05% C, 0.8 to 2.0% Fe, up to 1.0% Co, 0.5 to 2.0% Si, 7 to 11% Mo, up to 0.3% B, 0.1 to 0.45% Ce, 0.1 to 0.5% Al, 24 to 32% Cr and the remainder Ni.
