<p>PURPOSE:To continuously separate oil and water with high separation efficiency and at a low cost by irradiating an ultrasonic wave on cold rolling waste oil, and separating the water dispersed in the waste oil. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave is irradiated on high-viscosity cold rolling waste oil added with a surfactant and a dispersant to separate the water dispersed in waste oil. At the time of irradiating the ultrasonic wave, the ultrasonic wave propagation velocity can be effectively increased at 60-80 deg.C, and the frequency is preferably controlled to 45-55kHz. Consequently, oil and water can be continuously separated with high efficiency and at a low cost. The water content in the recovered waste oil can be reduced to <=40% by this method, and the recovered waste oil can be reutilized as fuel.</p> |
