In the case of a channel body for electrical continuous-flow heaters, straight continuous-flow channels run between a pair of head pieces (122, 130) and are interconnected via connecting channels (160, 162, 164, 166 and 184, 186, 188, 190 respectively) which open in mutually opposite side surfaces of the head pieces (122, 130). The head pieces (122, 130) are constructed with T-shaped tubular pieces (138, 144, 140, 146) and angled tubular pieces (142, 148). The continuous-flow channels are formed by straight tubular pieces (132, 134, 136) which extend between the head pieces (122, 130). Some of the continuous-flow channels contain heating elements (158, 176) and some of them are only connecting channels whose water column forms an electrical resistance. The individual parts of the channel body are connected to one another by bonding or ultrasound welding. Water resistance channels connected upstream and downstream are formed by plastic hoses (182). <IMAGE>
