Lighting device for a motorless wheeled vehicle comprising two lights supplied by a generator (1) comprising a stator and a rotor and driven by one wheel of the vehicle through projecting members (34) co-operating with the spokes (34) of the above-mentioned wheel, said generator (1) comprising at least sixteen heteropolar poles (27) distributed throughout 360 DEG and facing an induction winding formed by a single coil (26) which also extends throughout 360 DEG , said poles (27) and coil being movably mounted with respect to each other and the stator being fixed to a fork (22) of the vehicle so that the generator (1) is coaxial with the shaft (21) of the wheel which drives the rotor.
