The invention relates to a holding body of elastic material for supporting an electroacoustic transducer in an enclosure. Circumferential projections 1, 2 at the support area ensure an acoustically tight seal with the enclosure. Further projections 12 encircle the transducer housing and ensure a high degree of decoupling of structure-borne sound. Applicable in telephone technology (Figure 1). <IMAGE>
