PURPOSE:To efficiently execute a slip design, a correction, etc. by calculating the number of pints of a character-string based on a size of the first rectangle to which the character-string of a business form is mounted by a computer, generating the second rectangle, and mounting it to a desired position of the first rectangle. CONSTITUTION:Various operation of a computer system 50, and a processing menu 54 are selected by an input device 20, and a graphic, a character-string, a symbol, etc. for a slip design are displayed on a display device 10. Also, the business form design which is registered already in a file 30 is selected and displayed on the deice 10. In such a case, with regard to the display design, the whole design is confirmed by an interactive format and a business form is designed and registered in the file 30. At the time of mounting the character-string into a slip frame, the first rectangle for mounting the character-string is provided, and based on the number of characters of the character-string and a size of the first rectangle, the number of points of the character-string is calculated and the second rectangle is generated, and it is moved to a desired position of the first rectangle and mounted. These data are registered in the file 30, and outputted to a process film, etc. of the slip design through a converting system 41 and an output device 40.
