摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having appropriate viscosity and excellent coated film physical property and water resistance as the primary coating composition for optical fiber by forming the composition with specified urethane acrylate and mono(meth)acrylate. CONSTITUTION:The activation energy beam curing composition for optical fiber consists of 30-90wt% reaction product obtained by the reaction of a polyol with a polyisocyanate and a lactone-(meth)acrylate addition material and 70-10wt% mono(meth)acrylate shown by the formula [X is alkyl and (alkyl-substituted) phenyl, R is H and methyl, and (n) is 2-6]. The composition has appropriate viscosity and excellent coated film physical property (low modulus and high fracture elongation) and water resistance as the primary coating composition for optical fiber.
