A pivot fitting serves for pivoting a kitchen appliance into the body of a piece of furniture. The fitting has a bearing part which is seated on a drawing-out rail fastened on a side wall of a piece of furniture. The bearing part is fastened, by means of a front end, on a screen of a drawer of the body of the piece of furniture. A carrier of the kitchen appliance is fastened on a pivot pin which is seated on the bearing part. By pulling out the drawer, the bearing part, along with the carrier and the kitchen appliance, can simultaneously be moved out of the body of the piece of furniture. Then, all that needs to be done is to pivot the carrier upwards about the pivot pin in order to transfer the kitchen appliance into the use position.
