PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of multicolor printing by a method wherein a conveyance path of a printing article is moved intermittently along a plurality of stations, first color printing is conducted at one stop position, color printing from second onward is conducted sequentially on the first color print at another stop position, and the article is discharged succesively. CONSTITUTION:In the case when two-color printing is conducted, a conveyor is formed so that it can end one rotation at odd-numbered steps, and feeding is set so that it can be performed at the rate of 2 steps/ 1 cycle of printing machine. When the printing machine operates in one cycle, ink for a first color is transferred onto a printing article located at a station E. Since the table shows the feeding at the rate of 2 step/cycle, the printing article on which the ink is transferred as described above is moved, from the following cycle onward, along stations E, G, I, B, D and F in this sequence, and a second color is printed at the station F. With a drier set at any one of the stations G, I, B and D, accordingly, the ink is dried without removing the printing article from a jig, and thus the printing of the second color on the second station (on F) can be performed without any problem. The printing article is discharged thereafter at the station H, and thereby the two-color printing is completed. |
