PURPOSE:To improve a response characteristic when an idle speed is controlled, by additionally increasing the corrective amount to its estimated correction when multiple loads are applied, in the case of a control device which estimates the idle speed to be corrected when a load is additionally applied. CONSTITUTION:A three-way valve 14, being controlled in a control unit 23 in accordance with a control amount on the basis of a difference between an actual speed obtained from the output of a crank angle sensor 16 and the target idle speed, controls a regulating valve 10 through a diaphragm device 12 so as to adjust a bypass flow of air and feedback control an idle speed. In this case, when an external load, for instance, a cooler load is additionally applied to be detected from a cooler switch signal 20, an estimated corrective amount corresponding to the cooler load is added to said control amount. Then the control amount is corrected by an estimated amount, in which multiple corrective amounts are added to the estimated corrective amount corresponding to another load, when it is further added. |
