In a radiant heater unit air is supplied to the burner thereof after heat exchange in the unit with exhaust gases. The face of the burner is within a reflector cowl which retains excess hot air which has not been burnt, which air travels across the outside face of the burner and is burnt. Heat exchange of supply air with exhaust gases occurs via ducting communicating with the unit and the supply of air to the unit and the feeding away of exhaust gases are each fan assisted. |
