An aqueous liquid dye composition comprising 10 to 50% by weight of a fiber-reactive copper phthalo­cyanine dye represented by the following formula (I) in the form of a free acid,
<Chemistry id="chema01" num="0001"><Image id="ia01" he="52" wi="141" file="IMGA0001.TIF" imgContent="chem" imgFormat="TIFF" /></Chemistry> wherein Y is a group of -SO₂CH=CH₂ or -SO₂CH₂CH₂Z, in which Z is a splittable group by the action of an alkali, and m and n are independently a number of 1 to 3, provided that they satisfy the following formula, 2 < m + n ≦ 4, 0.1 to 20% by weight of at least one cyclic imide selected from ε-caprolactam and N-methylpyrrolidones and the balance of water, which is chemically and physically stable, even when stored for a long period of time at ambient temperature or stored at a relatively high temperature such as 50° to 80°C.
