PURPOSE:To obtain a large amount of a specific antibody-containing material from the whole egg, egg yolk or the white produced from a hen which is inoculated with an antigen to form a specific antibody in the hen. CONSTITUTION:A specific antibody-containing material which is obtained from the whole egg, egg yolk or the white of an egg produced by a hen previously inoculated with an antigen, containing an antibody specific to the antigen. A substance properly selected from pollen, bacterium, virus, mold, allergen, blood, sperm and toxin of diseased animal can be used depending upon the purpose of the formed material. When the material is used as an additive for food, the antigen is especially preferably an inactivated, attenuated or subunit antigen. Since the prepared formed product contains an antibody corresponding to the antigen used, it is ingested in an animal to show preventing and remedying effect on infection. |
