PURPOSE:To obtain an underground wall not be effected by the conductions of the side wall of vertical trench by using a formwork made of a water- permeable but cement particle-impermeable cloth and having a water hole covered with a coarse-mesh net on its bottom. CONSTITUTION:A bound material 3 consists of reinforcing bars 1 and a cloth formwork 2, in which the cloth formwork 2 made of a water-permeable but cement particle-impermeable cloth is bound with the reinforcing bars at the vertical and horizontal balancing positions of the sides of the reinforcing bars 1. On the bottom of the skirt portion 20 of the formwork 2, a water hole 23 covered with a coarse-mesh nut 22 is formed. The bound material 3 is erected in a vertical trench 11, and mud water 25 in the trench 11 is directed through the hole 23 into the formwork 2, during which period the cloth of the skirt portion 20 is pressed and crushed to close the hole 23 and the mud water in the formwork 2 is replaced with ready-mixed concrete to form an underground wall. The underground wall not to be affected by the conditions of the side wall of the trench 11 can be obtained.
