PURPOSE:To improve the operating efficiency of a high voltage transformer by providing position restricting projections at the terminal leading sides of primary and secondary bobbins to facilitate the restriction of the position. CONSTITUTION:Position restricting projections 18 are formed at the leading sides of the terminals 13 of primary and secondary bobbins 11, 12, and the shape and the disposition of the projections are balanced with respect to rightward, leftward and upward, downward forces when the bobbins 11, 12 are combined. The terminals 13 are connected with a printed substrate 14 in which various electronic components 17 for forming a rectifier or oscillator circuit are assembled, and the heights of the projections 18 are so composed in sufficient size to hold an insulation between the components 17 and the secondary winding on the substrate 14. A magnetic core 15 is assembled with the bobbins 11, 12, and housed in an insulating case 16. Thus, insulating distance between various components can be maintained sufficiently to improve the operating efficiency, thereby providing excellent safety and reliability.
