PURPOSE:To dispense with projecting parts for installing terminals and make a battery possible to be thinned, by providing window-like cuts on thin plates consisting of nonconductive material for battery terminals or terminal connection sections. CONSTITUTION:Tnned brass plates 3 and 3' are made contact with lead plates 2 and 2' in a state of being fitted in cutting parts of polycarbonate resin plates 1 and 1', and these plates 3, 3' and 2, 2' are heated and melted and unitized as one body respectively. And, a safety valve 10 lowers the internal pressure of the battery when if becomes more than the specified atmospheric pressure value. And, these plates 2 and 2' and molded bodies 7-9 composed of plastics are joined together by means of heat deposition, and these plates 3 and 3' are used as a positive terminal and a negative terminal each. With this constitution, projecting parts for installing these terminals are no longer required, thus a battery can be made up into a thin type. |
