PURPOSE:To make it possible to simply measure the high temp. magnetic characteristic of a magnetic material, by detecting induced voltage, which is generated by magnetizing the magnetic material in an AC magnetic field in a high temp. atmosphere, at every temp. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material 3 is arranged in a heating apparatus wherein a heat generator 2 is wound around the outer periphery of a bobbin 1. The material 3 is positioned in an AC magnetic field generating apparatus constituted of an AC power source 4, an AC voltage controller 5, an AC ammeter 6 and a magnetizing coil 7 and magnetized by an AC magnetic field. A detection coil 8 is wound around the material 3 and the induced voltage due to the change in the magnetization of the material 3 is measured by the coil 8 and an AC voltmeter 9. This high temp. magnetism measuring method is characterized in that it is unnecessary to precisely perform the setting of the position of the material 3, it is unnecessary to set a measuring condition by a standard specimen and measurement can be performed simply. Further, because the material 3 is magnetized by the AC magnetic field, an integrating device is unnecessary and, by drawing the relational curve of induced voltage and heating temp., the high temp. measurement of magnetism is enabled easily.
