PURPOSE:To easily enable even an athlete to practice the exercise by himself by giving the sequential control of emission to many light sources arranged on a course and using the shifting light beams as the speed control signals for a traveling object. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary device 11 containing an electric lamp 13, a vinyl tube 15 and a control unit 17 is set along a course. Many lamps 13 are arranged along the course and the device is actuated to give the sequential control of emission to those lamps 13. Thus these lamps 13 are blinked. As a result, a traveling object, e.g., an athlete can run or swim for practice while conforming the shifting light beams of those lamps 13 as the speed control signals.
