PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for tape generation for a numerical control puncher by scanning a graphic like a print pattern with an image pickup element and calculating the coordinate position and the diameter of a hole in accordance with the picture signal. CONSTITUTION:An image pickup part 4 reads optically the graphic on a sheet 1, on which a print pattern or the like is formed, and sends the picture signal to a processor 6. The processor 6 detects an area, where a hole exists, from the picture signal in accordance with front end and rear end positions of the hole and operates the center coordinates and the diameter of the hole in this area. |
