PURPOSE:To measure the overall length by once by constituting a placing base device for lacing a cleaning blade, of a placing base, a driving device for moving the placing base, and a micrometer head for bringing a position of the placing base to a fine adjustment. CONSTITUTION:An edge line defect detecting device is constituted of a placing base device 1 for placing a cleaning blade W, and an image processor 20 for bringing an edge line part Wa of the blade W to an image pickup. The device 1 is constituted of a placing base 2 which can support the edge line part Wa of the blade W in an overhung state, a driving device 3 for moving this placing base 2 in the edge line direction of the blade W, and micrometer heads 4, 5 for bringing the positions in the horizontal and vertical directions of the placing base 2 to a fine adjustment, respectively. In this way, not only an adjustment in the horizontal direction at the time of movement of the placing base 2 can be executed, but also even in case of the blade W whose width and thickness are different, the edge line part Wa of the blade W (an object to be inspected) can always be set to a prescribed position against a camera 21. Also, the head 5 is used for improving the inspection accuracy. |
