摘要 PURPOSE:To exactly limit a bending diameter by providing a reinforced layer formed by lap-winding a tape spirally to the inside of a housing, and lap-winding it so that a projecting part of the other inside end part is engaged to the outside recessed part of one end part of the tape. CONSTITUTION:As for a tape 1 for forming a reinforced layer by lap-winding it spirally onto a cable core 6 which has collected and push-wound plural pieces of optical fibers 5, a recessed part 2a and a projecting part 2b are formed in one end of the inside surface, and a recessed part 3a and a projecting part 3b are formed in the other end of the outside surface. The tape 1 is lap-wound so that the projecting part 2b is engaged to the recessed part 3a. When a cable which has been formed in this way is bent, the tape which has become cylindrical by lap winding contracts in the bending inside peripheral part of the cylinder, and expands in the outside peripheral part. In this case, the projecting parts 3b, 2b which are engaged to the recessed parts 2a, 3a move relatively, hit against the projections of both sides for forming the recessed parts 2a, 2b, and its movement can be exactly limited.
