PURPOSE:To prevent damage by transporting and taking out and mass-produce the titled confectionery having beautiful gloss at a low cost, by casting a fluid forming confectionery dough into plural recessed cavities of a specific mold, cooling and solidifying the dough and directly packaging the solidified dough. CONSTITUTION:A mold 1 having plural adjacent recessed cavities 2 patterned after the outer shape of animal or plant, figure of a person or character, outer shape of building or sculpture, decorative figure, etc., and giving 0.5-5mm thickness of the resultant formed confectionery is produced by compression, vacuum or compressed air pressure forming using a sheet consisting of a thermoplastic synthetic resin, e.g. PP, rigid PE, PVC, etc. A fluid forming confectionery dough, e.g. chocolate, etc., is evenly cast into each recessed cavity 2 of the mold 1 and light vibration is given to make the thickness uniform. The dough is then cooled and solidified to afford the desired confectionery 3, which is then superposed in an inner plastic container 4 for a required number of molds 1 and then contained in a paper carton 5, etc., to provide a packaged product 6 for distribution.
