PURPOSE:To aim at enhancement of the characteristics and the service life of a fuel cell device by adequately opening a fuel gas or oxygen gas discharge valve when a differential pressure between fuel gas or oxygen gas and inert gas inside a hermetically sealed container exceeds the upper limit of a safe differential pressure zone. CONSTITUTION:A fuel gas side differential pressure gauge 26F is installed between supply pipes 11F and 30N of fuel gas and inert gas, and an oxygen gas side differential pressure gauge 26A between supply pipes 11A and 30N of oxygen gas an inert gas. Respective differential pressures are monitored on the basis of signals detected by these differential pressure gauges. And, a fuel gas discharge valve 28 is adequately opened when a differential pressure between the fuel gas and the inert gas inside a hermetically sealed container 30 exceeds the upper limit of a safety differential pressure zone. In addition, an oxygen discharge valve 29 is adequately opened when a differential pressure between the oxygen gas and the inert gas inside the container 30 exceeds the upper limit of a safety differential pressure zone. Thus, any dangerous differential pressure in fuel gas and oxygen gas can be eliminated. |
