PURPOSE:The titled dispersion, containing specific zeolite based solid particles, a water-insoluble organic high polymer and emulsifying agent and capable of attaining stable and homogeneous dispersion of the germicidal zeolite and surely achieving the impartment of germicidal effect to fibers, films, molded articles, etc. CONSTITUTION:A germicidal aqueous dispersion containing zeolite based solid particles, e.g. silver-zeolite Y having 0.6mum average particle size, etc., holding metal ions having germicidal action, a water-insoluble organic high polymer, e.g. block copolymer consisting of polyethylene terephthalate segments and polytetramethylene ether glycol segments, etc., as a holding carrier for the above-mentioned zeolite based solid particles and an emulsifying agent, e.g. polyoxyethylene lauryl ether, etc., capable of holding a stable and homogeneous dispersion state of the above-mentioned organic high polymer in water for a long period. The blending ratios of the above-mentioned ingredients are 1-20pts.wt. zeolite based solid particles based on 100pts.wt. organic high polymer and 5-100pts.wt. emulsifying agent based on 100pts.wt. above-mentioned blend.
