PURPOSE:To easily measure the cylindricity of a fixed drum with small man- hours by forming an indication part at the center part of a rotating body and putting it opposite the upper opening of an upper drum, and supporting a measuring means for the cylindricity of the fixed drum. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower fixed drums 11 and 12 are coupled by a drum holder 13 and fixed. Then, a motor 14 with which a casing is coupled is arranged under the lower drum 12 and its output shaft 16 is supported rotatably by a ball bearing 17. A scanner 19 which constitutes an intermediate drum is fixed to a fitting base 18 fitted onto the output shaft 16. Consequently, a rotary head 20 is fitted and rotated in the gap between the drums 11 and 12. Further, the projection part 23 of the scanner 19 faces the upper opening of the upper drum 11. Then, a fitting part 29 which constitutes the support part of a measuring instrument is fitted to the cylindrical projection part 23 of the scanner 19. Thus, the measuring instrument is supported by a rotary head device and the cylindricity of the fixed drum is easily measured.
