<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a required negative pressure in a short time by providing a volume body in the inside of a drum to reduce substantially the inner volume of the negative pressure part in the drum. CONSTITUTION:An enclosed cylinder 100 is arranged coaxially in an exposure drum 18, one end is fixed to a small diameter shaft 40, the other end is brought into contact with the inner end of the exposure drum 18 via a spacer 102 and fixed to the drum 108 by a screw 104. Thus, a thin space is left between the outer circumferential face and the inner circumferential face of the drum 18 and this space is linked to a suction hole 98. Then the inner volume of the drum 18 is reduced substantially and the negative pressure delivered from the suction hole 98 is delivered quickly to a circular hole 96 to attract a recording medium.</p> |
