PURPOSE:To obtain a stable positive image by exposing a whole surface of a photosensitive material before a fogging development processing, thereby forming the direct positive image. CONSTITUTION:The exposure on the whole surface of the photosensitive material before the fogging development processing may be effected before or after image-wisely exposing or together with the image-wise exposure. As a light source which is used for a subexposure, the light source which is used for printing or photographing, is practically used. The term, fogging exposure effected during processing, means to uniformly expose the whole surface of the photosensitive material in a processing solution which is processed before the development processing, or after the prescribed processing or in the developer. The fogging agent is exemplified with hydrazine, hydride or hydrazone compd., etc. |
