PURPOSE:To effectively read out a picture and digital data of related block structure by regulating the length after interleaving and position of end part in blocks made by dividing digital data signals. CONSTITUTION:Digital data signals are inputted to an EFM encoder 9 through a memory 41 and the memory 41 is controlled by a position detecting means 42 that detects specified position of video signals. By such constitution, digital data signals are divided into blocks constituting of specified bits, and the length after interleaving is interleaved to become longer than one field of television video signals shorter than one frame. The end part of the block after interleaving is recorded near a position to which vertical signals of the television video signals correspond. Thus, digital data of a series of pictures and a series of related block structure can be read at high efficiency.
