PURPOSE:To enable the feed of fuel in two tanks, separated from each other, without leaving the fuel therein, by a method wherein a second fuel tank and a first fuel tank are intercommunicated through a jet pump. CONSTITUTION:When fuel in a fuel tank 10 is decreased and the liquid level of the fuel is lower than a level L1, a float 62 is also lowered, application of a voltage to a solenoid valve 50 is disconnected to open the solenoid valve 50. The fuel is fed through a flow passage piping 41 to a jet pump 40 to run the jet pump 40. In this case, the fuel is fed at 80l/hr to an engine 30, and is fed through a return flow passage piping 41 to the jet pump 40. With the jet pump 40 run, the fuel remaining on the bottom of a fuel tank 10B is transferred through an auxiliary suction flow passage piping 42 to a fuel tank 10A, and is fed to the engine 30 with the aid of a main fuel pump 20.
