PURPOSE:To obtain an optical recording medium having good durability by forming the optical recording medium consisting of a plastic substrate layer, cured layer of a prescribed resin compsn. curable by actinic rays and layer of a thin org. dye compsn. film. CONSTITUTION:A UV-curing compsn. 2 essentially consisting of a fluorine-contg. monomer and crosslinkable monomer is uniformly coated on a master disk 1 and a plastic substrate 3 is brought into tight contact with the top surface thereof. UV rays 5 are then irradiated on the compsn. 2 to cure the same; thereafter, the master disk 1 is stripped and the plastic substrate having the cured layer of the compsn. transferred with the rugged pattern of the master disk is obtd., The org. dye compsn. 6 is coated on the cured layer 2 of the compsn., by which the optical recording medium is obtd. A fluorine-substd. acrylic or styrene monomer, etc., are used for the fluorine-contg. monomer. A compd. having polymerizable double bonds in one molecule is used for the crosslinkable monomer. There is no limination for the org. dye. |
