PURPOSE:To automatically operate components on a printed circuit board from a testing device side and to improve the reliability of a test result by providing an operation command part and a control operation part which sets the components on the printed circuit board at positions meeting set requirements according to the commands of the command part. CONSTITUTION:A board test 1 carries out the stages of a test of the printed circuit board 2 according to a previously loaded program. The control operation part 3, on the other hand, consists of an interface 3a, a program controller 3b, and a robot controller 3c. Then the controller 3b controls the board tester 1 through the interface 3a and also controls the controller 2c and a robot hand 3d. The robot hand 3d is equipped with a couple of tactile sensors at the part which contacts the operation lever of a toggle switch 2a as a component. Consequently, the manual operation of an operator need not intervene and a series of stages of the test of the printed circuit board 2 are carried out to decide whether or not the functions of the printed circuit board are normal lastly.
