PURPOSE:To assure insulation resistance after cleaning by adding an oleic acid to a mixture composed of a flux contg. an activator and powder solder. CONSTITUTION:The essential component of the flux is a pasty material consisting of the mixture composed of rosin and an org. solvent, for example, alcohol. Hydrochloride, borohydrochloride, etc. of an amine are used for the activator to be added. The purpose of adding the oleic acid is to matt the exposed conductor surface stuck with solder and the amt. of said acid to be added is specified to 5-20wt% in the flux. The matte effect after soldering is assured and an optical inspection is exactly executed so that the cleaning and removal of the flux residue after soldering are made easy and that the insulation characteristic between the conductors to be soldered is assured.
